Reeling for the recent loss of a child, and prompted to evil deeds by witches that may be inside their own head, Lady Macbeth and her husband embark on a path of murder and destruction to get what they want. But when faced with the naked truth of what they have done, and left with just a dagger and the shards of their relationship between them, what must they undertake to clear their consciences? Will these hands ever be clean?
